Company health insurance premiums are a tax-deductible business expense in Spain. Employees pay no IRPF income tax on the benefit — up to €500 per insured person per year. For large companies this can represent a significant combined tax saving across the entire workforce.

Yes. For companies with 100+ employees, all waiting periods are completely removed. Every employee — including those with pre-existing conditions — is covered from the first day the policy is active. No exceptions apply for the size of the company or the nature of the condition.
Pre-existing conditions are not taken into account for either risk assessment or pricing. All employees are accepted on the same terms regardless of their health history. This is one of the key advantages of a group plan at this size — individual health declarations are not required.
The maximum contractual age for new members is 75 years. Once active, there is no upper age limit — employees can keep their cover beyond 75 as long as the policy remains in force.
The plan includes 24/7 video consultations via the Mi Sanitas app, digital consultations with specialists across 10 areas, digital appointment scheduling, health programmes and a corporate portal for HR teams to manage the policy. There are no on-site payments — all services are billed directly to Sanitas.
Yes. Sanitas Dental 21 is included as standard with Empresas Más Digital. This gives every covered employee access to more than 30 dental services, a 21% discount on services not included, and access to Sanitas' exclusive Milenium Dental Clinics. A co-payment of €3 per dental procedure applies.
No — co-payments are optional and can be turned on or off depending on what suits your company. If selected, the first 6 services per employee per year are always free. Co-payments only apply from the 7th service onwards, and are capped — the maximum per service is €10 regardless of how often the network is used.
