Step-by-Step Guide

How to Register & Set Up Mi Sanitas

Follow these steps after downloading the app. The whole process takes about 5 minutes. You must already have an active Sanitas policy to complete registration.

Download Mi Sanitas

Search "Mi Sanitas" on the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and install the free app. The icon is blue with the Sanitas logo.

Tap "Register" and Enter Your Policy Number

On the welcome screen, tap Registrarme (Register). You'll be asked for your Sanitas policy number — called número de póliza or código de socio. This appears on your welcome email, policy document, or insurance card. Enter it exactly as shown including any leading zeros.

Verify Your Identity

Enter your NIE, DNI, or passport number and your date of birth. These must match what's on your Sanitas policy exactly. You'll then receive a verification code by SMS or email — enter it to confirm your account and set your password.

Switch the App to English

Once logged in, tap Settings (Configuración) in the bottom menu. Tap Idioma / Language and select English. The entire app — all menus, doctor profiles, Blua, and support — switches to English immediately.

Start a Blua Video Consultation

Tap the Blua tab in the main menu. Choose Video Consultation for an immediate call with the next available English-speaking doctor, or Appointment to schedule a specific time. Urgent consultations are typically answered within 15 minutes around the clock.

Book In-Person Appointments

Tap Appointments (Citas) in the main menu. Use the filter and select Language: English to show only English-speaking doctors. Choose your specialty and a nearby clinic, pick a date and time, and confirm. You'll get instant confirmation by push notification and email.
